Family Coaching

We offer family coaching to support families in overcoming challenges such as miscommunication, behavioural issues, or major life transitions. The impact is transformative, fostering greater understanding, harmony, and connection among family members. Our coaching helps families develop healthier dynamics and create a more supportive, peaceful home environment.

Our Group Therapy Process: Supporting You Every Step of the Way

In group therapy, we understand the importance of creating a safe and private space for you to share your thoughts and emotions. This allows the therapist to truly understand your individual needs and how we can best support you. Through this process, you will learn how to communicate effectively and feel heard, laying the foundation for new beginnings within your relationships.

Step 1: One-on-One Sessions

Each family member starts with a one-to-one session with the therapist. This private setting ensures that you can freely express your feelings and concerns without judgment. It’s a crucial step for the therapist to get to know you personally and understand how you’re navigating your emotions. These sessions help you explore what’s on your mind and prepare you to communicate effectively in the group meeting.

Step 2: Family Group Session

Once each family member has had their individual session, we come together as a group. This is the opportunity to share, discuss, and explore the underlying issues from different perspectives. In this space, you can express your thoughts openly to other members of the family, fostering deeper understanding and connection. Through guided discussion, you will learn how to communicate clearly and respectfully, ensuring that everyone feels heard. Together, we work through challenges and find solutions that create new beginnings for your family relationships.

Step 3: Follow-up One-on-One Sessions

After the group meeting, each member will have another one-on-one session with the therapist. This allows you to reflect on the group discussion, share how you’re feeling, and discuss the next steps. These follow-up sessions are essential for ensuring that you’re comfortable with the solutions and have a clear path forward.

Outcome

By following this structured approach, we aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can work through emotions and strengthen your relationships, both individually and as a family. The result is better communication, a greater sense of understanding, and the ability to move forward together.

I attended an Integrative Sand Tray session to reflect on my relationships with my son and daughter. Through this experience I realised I was living through grief and my focus was on the children and family members I had lost.

Through Shazia's safety and guidance I was able to see my children for the first time in over a year. We enjoy family roast dinners on a Sunday now and I am totally present in their lives and my own.
