Staff Wellbeing Day: Connection, Calm & Creativity

As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing, we recently hosted a rejuvenating and inspiring Staff Wellbeing Day. This was a much needed opportunity for a new team to connect, unwind, and recharge. The day was filled with a rich mix of activities, including learning how to drive a canal boat, guided meditation, walking and talking therapy, a sound bath experience, and Drawing therapy.

Staff shared that the day was not only relaxing and enjoyable, but also a valuable chance to bond as a team, learn new skills, and build trust in a calm, non-work environment. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive — and as always, the photos speak for themselves.

Fostering Inclusion: Celebrating Ramadan with Guided Meditation

At the COOP, inclusion isn’t just a value — it’s part of the culture. This year, in partnership with the RISE team, I supported the design and delivery of a meaningful Ramadan celebration that brought together staff through guided meditation, reflection, and cultural understanding.

Throughout the day, employees were invited to take part in in-person and online meditation sessions. These gentle, inclusive spaces allowed for mindfulness, emotional reset, and connection, aligning with the spirit of Ramadan while offering benefits for all staff, regardless of background or belief.
